Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Developing detailed project plans that outline the scope, resources, budget, timeline, and specifications. This includes feasibility studies and risk analysis to ensure the project is viable.
  • Design Oversight: Coordinating with architects, designers, and other engineers to ensure that the project's designs meet the necessary technical and regulatory standards. They might also be involved in revising and approving project drawings and plans.
  • Resource Management: Allocating resources effectively, including labor, materials, and machinery. Ensuring that resources are available when needed and are used efficiently.
  • Budget Management: Monitoring and controlling project costs to ensure the project stays within the approved budget. This involves cost forecasting, managing invoices, and handling financial disputes.
  • Quality Control: Implementing quality control processes to meet the quality standards expected for the project. This includes regular testing of materials and workmanship.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring the project complies with all relevant laws and regulations. This involves obtaining necessary permits and approvals and conducting regular compliance audits.
  • Safety Management: Overseeing the implementation of health and safety guidelines on the project site. This includes conducting safety inspections and ensuring that all staff are trained in health and safety practices.
  • Project Documentation: Maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, project schedules, and compliance records. This is essential for legal, regulatory, and organizational needs.
