Job Description

Job Summary:
The Project Manager - Civil is responsible for overseeing civil engineering projects from inception to completion. Key duties include managing project plans, coordinating with teams, ensuring compliance with standards, and achieving project goals on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Management: Study contract documents, review project synopsis, develop monthly work plans, mobilize resources, and monitor project cash flow.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, assign tasks, and ensure project objectives are met.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main contact for clients, attend meetings, and prepare project reports.
  • Quality Control and Compliance: Ensure adherence to SPC, GCC, and contract conditions, conduct site inspections, and review daily work execution.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, monitor risks, and ensure health and safety protocols.
  • Budget Management: Manage budgets, approve expenditures, and raise material procurement details in advance.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain project documentation, review labor and client bills, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Design and Coordination: Work on shuttering design with consultants, consider material availability, and provide guidance on good practices.
